Delightful Baby Nursery Bedding in Your Baby’s Nursery Makes You Mirthful
21st September 2009 by Babies No CommentsThere are many things to do before you bring home your new baby; one of the most fun is designing the nursery. This place should be nice and interesting for the baby as the baby will spent a lot of time here. As well as buying curtains and painting the walls, you must naturally make the crib up with baby bedding. Options for the walls include soft pastels or primary colors.
It is wise to wait until the baby is born if you wish to choose a paint color according to the baby’s gender. If the woodwork is painted white, or a color that works with the walls, it looks great. If the walls have been painted a specific color, the flooring will probably be neutral.
The highlight of your nursery will typically be the crib bedding. You can help add to the gender of the room by supplementing it with baby crib bedding for girls. The baby bedding may have a whimsical print, themed with a character from a children’s TV show, a has patterns such as stripe or polka dot, or simply have a solid color appropriate for a baby.
Be sure the bedding complements the wall color, either incorporating the shade of the color, or contrasting nicely with it. Decide on bedding first then choose paint colors to see how they will match.
Stores sell complete bedding sets with accessories like borders and curtains. If you choose a TV or movie character as your theme, you’ll probably be able to find trashcans, lamps or other decorative items with the same character on it. You can arrange to hang the pictures on the walls and decorate the furnitures, after selecting the theme and color scheme of the room. You may even be able to buy specialty drawer pulls and knobs for the dresser or chest that really set off the room.
Safety must come first, when you are making up the crib for your baby. The crib should only have one fitted sheet on mattress to ensure safety. They look pretty but raise the chances that your baby could choke on them. You should never let blankets or other bedding obstruct your baby’s breathing.
