Fruits like banana, pears, apple sauce, peaches etc can be introduced in the diet and vegetables like sweet potatoes, squash, cooked carrots, beans etc can also be fed to the babies. Using the fruits and the vegetables, mother can make pureed baby foods. While making it, sugar, salt or spice items should not be introduced in the food. Seeds and skins of fruits and vegetables should be removed properly as it upsets the stomach.

Unknowingly some mothers will feed the sweet foods like baby deserts, pre-sweetened cereals, chocolates, sugar, fruit-flavored drinks, soda pop etc to their babies. Baby Food fact about these sweeten foods is that they have little food value and they can even mess up baby’s appetite for nourishing diets. Other baby food fact about these foods is that they are very harmful to the baby’s newly growing teeth. Mother should be very careful about picking the baby food products from the market like checking the expiry date of the baby food etc. These new foods should be continued for next 2 months.
